Welcome Golfers to the DuraBante Second Annual Invitational where you can golf for a better tomorrow! The Invitational is hosted by DuraBante Charitable Giving, a 501(c)(3) charity, which aims to support opportunities for Baltimore’s underprivileged youth. Our charity will support programs that assist children in developing life skills. By teaming up with the St. Francis Neighborhood Center this year, we will to do just that. With your support, all of the proceeds will aid in the new edition to the Center through the capital campaign. The France-Merrick Foundation awarded a $250,000 Challenge Grant to the $4M Count on Me Capital Campaign project to renovate and expand St.Francis Neighborhood Center by 2019. We must raise the full $250,000 in order to receive the match. With the campaign goal achieved, The Center will increase its educational program capacity to serve from 100 to 200 children in the youth programs in the high-needs neighborhood of Reservoir Hill, West Baltimore. About the Course
Hillendale is a private country club, built in 1954, and located in Phoenix, Maryland. But don’t be fooled by its rural location it has hosted many signature events such as the 1983 & 1984 Tournament Players Series (Greater Baltimore Open) for the PGA tour, 5 Maryland State Opens (most recently in 2009), Maryland State Amateur Championship in 1976, 1984 & 1996, and 2011, Middle Atlantic PGA Section Club Pro Championship in 2001 and 2005 and the 2015 Maryland State Open & Amateur Qualifier. With a slope of 68.4/124 for the White tees it’s not hard to see why. Hillendale may be a challenging course but it’s always a great time.
